A Fresh Start

Happy New Year, 2021!
Last year was a difficult one. But hopefully, things will start to turn around this year.
This photo was taken in Nanu Oya, Sri Lanka, from a window in the Amaya Langdale. We spent a few days in the small hotel in the mountains between Christmas and New Years. It was nice to take in different scenery and cooler weather for a few days.
I would like to start posting more photos from Sri Lanka since we will be leaving here in 2021. While I can always post on Instagram — in fact, this photo is already on my IG feed — I would prefer to put more photos on my blog in a space that I can control.
If you have any tips for doing a “photo of the day” on a blog, in terms of scheduling, tools, or templates, I would love to hear from you.
Of course, I will probably figure out the trajectory for myself as I go along. But maybe some of you have some tried and true methods that I haven’t considered or don’t know enough to ask about.
I say this every year to motivate myself:
It doesn’t matter how you start. The important thing is to get started.
